These lessons and exercises are for the true Beginner. The “100 Common Sight Nouns” represent one-hundred of the most used words in the English language. I think, upon analysis, that you will have some surprises as to what in on the list and what is not.

The list, “100 Common Sight Words”, perhaps shouldn’t even be on this page; as it represents a list of words of all classifications and not just nouns. I’ve placed it here for your attention and thought, as well as a lesson for your student(s). Next to each word, I have designated its class, and the range is considerable. It’s quite an indictment of the complexities of the English language when you begin to notice how many words belong to multiple classes; depending upon how they are used.
